Downlights can have a serious impact on your energy consumption. Not only do they use much more energy than the alternatives, they also act as small heat chimneys sucking air through the gaps in the fittings.

The Isolite is a specially designed cover that seals the downlight fittings, preventing air movement. It also allows insulation to be placed closer to the transformer and light fitting reducing heat loss from the uninsulated ceiling area surrounding the downlight. The unit includes a transformer housing that allows the transformer to be mounted in a space saving position next to the down light.
